Tourbillon Watches

Invented by Abraham-Louis Breguet in 1801 to counteract gravity's effect on a pocket watch's balance wheel. In a modern wristwatch, a tourbillon is purely a horological flex — but a magnificent one. Audemars Piguet, Richard Mille and Hublot tourbillons make up most of this collection, alongside pieces from Vacheron Constantin, A. Lange & Söhne and other high-complication makers.

About Tourbillons

A rotating cage containing the balance wheel. Hand-finished, hand-set, and visible through dial cutouts on most modern examples. Production of any single tourbillon reference is typically measured in dozens per year.
