Rolex GMT-Master II

Born from a Pan Am request in 1954 for a watch that could track two time zones simultaneously, the GMT-Master II is the original pilot's watch. Today it's the hardest steel Rolex to buy at retail — "Pepsi" 126710BLRO, "Batman" 126710BLNR, and "Sprite" 126720VTNR rotate through grey-market premium territory weekly. Bizak & Co. carries them in stock, priced honestly.

About the GMT-Master II

24-hour bezel, independently adjustable hour hand, Caliber 3285 with 70-hour reserve. The two-tone Cerachrom bezel is a Rolex manufacturing flex — until 2013, no one could make a two-color ceramic bezel. Look for the discontinued "Pepsi" on Jubilee 126710BLRO, the left-handed "Sprite" 126720VTNR (2022), and the two-tone "Root Beer" CHNR.
