Watch Authentication & Appraisals

Request an independent authentication assessment or an appraisal through Bizak & Co. Tell us whether you need help checking a watch, documenting its value, or meeting an insurer’s requirements so our team can confirm the right service and quote.

Request an assessment

Authentication

An authentication assessment concerns the identity and components of the watch. Share its reference, known history and any concerns about replaced or modified parts. Our team confirms the inspection required and the scope of any written findings. Photographs can support an initial discussion but do not replace an examination of the watch.

Appraisal

An appraisal addresses value for a stated purpose and date. Replacement value for insurance, an outright dealer purchase offer and an expected consignment result are different figures. If you want to sell, use our sell or trade form.

For an insurance appraisal, provide your insurer’s document requirements before commissioning the work. We will confirm whether we can meet them; acceptance remains subject to your insurer.

What happens next?

  1. Send the brand, reference, condition, available paperwork and purpose of the assessment.
  2. Review the proposed scope, fee, required inspection, expected deliverable and timing.
  3. Arrange a confirmed appointment or follow the shipping instructions provided by our team.

Our assessment is independent and does not make a watch part of a manufacturer’s certified pre-owned program. For a watch purchased through our catalogue, see our authentication process.
