The Rolex Day-Date is, by any measure, one of the most storied and recognizable watches ever created. Introduced in 1956, it was the first wristwatch to display both the date and the full day of the week spelled out on the dial—a feat that earned it an enduring reputation as the watch of world leaders, heads of state, and cultural icons. Decades later, the Day-Date retains every ounce of that prestige, and reference 118389RRP represents the collection at its most spectacular.

At 36mm, the Day-Date 36 occupies the classic, time-honored dimensions that defined the model through most of its history. This is not a watch that chases modern oversizing trends; instead, it honors the original proportions that made the Day-Date a symbol of refined power. The 18k white gold case has been elevated further with diamond setting across the case itself, ensuring that even the architecture of the watch catches the light and commands attention before a word is spoken.

The bezel of reference 118389RRP is set with diamonds, forming a brilliant frame around the dial that intensifies the overall jeweled effect. Paired against the rhodium dial—a cool, silvery finish synonymous with restraint and elegance—the diamonds provide contrast and depth rather than visual noise. Roman numeral hour markers reinforce the classical character of the dial, grounding the design in horological tradition even as the diamonds push it firmly into the realm of fine jewelry.

Power comes from Rolex's automatic movement, a self-winding caliber representative of the precision engineering that has made Rolex a benchmark for reliability. The President bracelet, crafted in 18k white gold to match the case, completes the watch with its characteristic three-piece semi-circular links—a bracelet so closely associated with the Day-Date that it is virtually synonymous with the model. Together, case, dial, and bracelet form a cohesive statement of intention: this watch was built for those who accept nothing but the best.

For collectors and connoisseurs considering a diamond-set Day-Date 36, reference 118389RRP represents a configuration that is simultaneously a wearable timepiece and a wearable jewel. Its white gold and diamond construction means it will never go out of style, and the timelessness of the 36mm case ensures it reads as classic on any wrist. At Bizak & Co., we curate exceptional watches and are committed to helping you find the right piece with confidence. Reference 118389RRP pairs an 18k white gold case with diamond setting across both the case and bezel, creating one of the most jeweled configurations in the Day-Date lineup. The rhodium Roman numeral dial and President bracelet in matching white gold complete an ensemble that is as much fine jewelry as it is haute horology. This combination makes it a standout piece for collectors and enthusiasts alike.

2. What movement powers the Rolex Day-Date 36 118389RRP?
The 118389RRP is driven by a Rolex automatic self-winding movement, in keeping with the Day-Date line's longstanding use of in-house mechanical calibers. Rolex automatic movements are renowned for their precision, durability, and long-term reliability. The watch winds itself through the motion of the wearer's wrist during everyday use.

3. What is the case size of the Rolex Day-Date 118389RRP?

4. Is the Rolex Day-Date 36 118389RRP suitable for everyday wear?

Many owners wear their Day-Date daily, appreciating both its durability and its ability to elevate any occasion. It is equally at home at a formal dinner or an important business meeting.

5. What are the dial and material details of reference 118389RRP?
