What is the Rolex Submariner 126613LN (not the Bluesy)?

|Filip Biczak
Rolex Submariner Date 41 mm 126613LN in steel and yellow gold with a black dial and black Cerachrom bezel

The Rolex Submariner Date 126613LN is the current 41 mm yellow Rolesor Submariner, in Oystersteel and 18 ct yellow gold, with a black Cerachrom bezel, a black dial and the calibre 3235. It is not the Bluesy: the Bluesy is the 126613LB with a blue dial and blue bezel, covered in our Bluesy guide. This guide covers the specifications, what the black dial looks like against yellow gold, how the 126613LN compares with the Bluesy, the 16613 and the steel 126610LN, what Bizak's sourced catalogue listed on October 1, 2026, and what to check before buying. Bizak & Co. sources the 126613LN to order; the Submariner collection lists the configurations we can seek.

What does a black dial look like on yellow Rolesor?

Black dial and black Cerachrom against yellow gold accents on the crown area, the bezel frame and the bracelet centre links: the watch reads two-tone without the blue face people call Bluesy. The black dial is the more formal and the more subdued of the two Rolesor Submariners, because black absorbs light and lets the gold carry the colour. The gold-surround markers and the hands give the dial a warm outline that plain steel does not.

Compared with an all-steel Submariner, the yellow centre links and gold bezel frame are the whole point of Rolesor. If you wanted blue instead, that is a different reference.

126613LN vs 126613LB Bluesy: what is the difference?

Dial Black Blue
Bezel Black Cerachrom Blue Cerachrom
Nickname None Bluesy
Case and metal Yellow Rolesor Yellow Rolesor

Same Rolesor case, same movement, same bracelet; different face. The Bluesy carries a recognisable name, and the black dial tends to be the more discreet watch. If a nickname does not matter to you, the choice is purely colour.

126613LN vs 16613: what changed?

126613LN 16613
Size 41 mm 40 mm
Bezel Black Cerachrom (ceramic) Aluminium insert, 1988 to 2009
Movement 3235, about 70 hours 3135, about 48 hours
Clasp Glidelock extension, tool-free Folding clasp with diver's extension
Guide This page 16613 guide

The 16613 is the two-tone Submariner Date of 1988 to 2009; the 126613LN is the current 41 mm ceramic generation. The most visible changes are the case size, the ceramic bezel and the movement; the vintage watch brings character and a lower catalogue ask but no Rolex warranty.

126613LN vs steel 126610LN: when do you pick Rolesor?

126613LN 126610LN
Metal Yellow Rolesor Oystersteel
Dial and bezel Black and black Cerachrom Black and black Cerachrom
Best for Two-tone presence A quieter all-steel daily diver
Guide This page 126610LN guide

Pick Rolesor when you want the yellow gold accents; pick steel when you want a quieter diver. Rolesor reads dressier and shows wear on the yellow centre links over time, where steel hides daily marks better. If you want a diver that you do not think about, steel is the lower-maintenance route.

How does the 41 mm Submariner Date in Rolesor wear?

At 41 mm the 126613LN is slightly larger than the 40 mm watch it replaced, but Rolex slimmed the lugs and reshaped the bracelet at the same time, so it does not feel oversized. The gold on the bezel, crown and centre links adds weight compared with the steel Submariner, and the Glidelock clasp lets you adjust the fit by a few millimetres without tools, which is handy when a wrist swells in the heat. It is a diver you can wear to dinner as easily as to the beach.

The 300 m rating is more than most owners will ever use, but it means the case, crown and bracelet are built to a diving standard and not a dress watch's.

Is the 126613LN a good watch to own?

It is a good watch if you want gold on a sports bracelet and a black dial that does not shout. It is a smaller-market reference than the steel Submariner, which can mean fewer buyers when it is time to sell, so buy it because you like it. A full set, a clean bezel frame and centre links without deep scratches keep an example easier to place later. If resale matters, ask for a written cash-buy assessment before you commit.

How much is a Rolex Submariner 126613LN in 2026?

  • Retail. Rolex publishes the current US list price on its product pages; we do not reproduce a figure that can go stale. Availability of Rolesor Submariners at authorised dealers varies.
  • Bizak catalogue asks. On October 1, 2026 our sourced catalogue listed the 126613LN at US$17,605 brand new and US$16,368 pre-owned, both sourced to order.
  • What moves the price. Condition, card date, wear on the gold centre links and bezel frame, and whether the bracelet has stretched.

Those figures describe what we saw and will move. Ask for a dated quote on the exact watch; our Submariner price guide explains how to compare quotes.

What should you check before you pay the balance on a 126613LN?

  • Dial and bezel. Ask for photographs and confirm black dial and black Cerachrom, not blue.
  • Rolesor centre links. Check the yellow gold centre links in photographs; they show wear first.
  • Bezel action. The bezel should turn one way only with crisp clicks and no play.
  • Warranty card. The reference should read 126613LN, the serial should match the watch and the card date should match the quote.
  • Bracelet and clasp. A stretched bracelet shows as a sag; check the Glidelock extension moves smoothly.
  • Price and timing. It is sourced to order; confirm timing and the final price in writing before you pay the balance.

Our authentication process describes what we inspect before dispatch.
