What makes the RM 67-01 different
Richard Mille created the RM 67-01 as a “lifestyle” model: an extremely flat automatic built on its emblematic tonneau case. RM says the tonneau shape was first imagined in an extra-flat form for this case, which takes more than 215 separate machining operations, 68 stamping operations for the bezel, caseband and back bezel, and hand brushing and polishing.
A thin watch risks looking flat, so RM skeletonised the CRMA6 heavily and rebuilt the dial: the numerals are cut from solid metal and mounted on two linked titanium rails fixed to the movement, so they sit above the open calibre, framed by a three-layer bezel. The movement is only 3.60 mm thick yet keeps a date at 5 o’clock and a function indicator at 2 o’clock, which shows, like a car’s gearbox, whether the crown is in the winding, date-setting or hand-setting position as you pull it out. A platinum rotor with RM’s OneWay winding system and ceramic ball bearings winds the barrel within those slim dimensions, and RM fits a fast-rotating barrel and a free-sprung balance with variable inertia for steadier timekeeping.
RM 67-01 versions: titanium, red gold, diamond-set and platinum

RM 67-01 vs RM 67-02
Richard Mille calls the RM 67-02 the sport version of the RM 67-01: the brand reworked the case with four extensions, made it in Quartz TPT and Carbon TPT and fitted an elastic strap, for a weight of 32 grams, and calls it its lightest automatic watch.

What to check before you buy an RM 67-01
-
The reference and serial. Read both on the watch against the warranty card, and check that the metal and any stones match the reference.
-
The stones. On a D or WGD the setting should be Richard Mille’s own, not aftermarket diamonds; our Richard Mille diamond watches guide explains factory and aftermarket setting.
-
The crown functions. Pulling the crown out should move the indicator at 2 o’clock through W, D and H; if you cannot handle the watch, ask for a short video of that and of the date at 5 o’clock being set.
-
Service history. Ask when the watch was last serviced; our guide to Richard Mille service cost and intervals explains what is due when.
-
Box, papers and strap. Confirm which box, papers and strap come with the watch; see what a complete Richard Mille set includes.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the Richard Mille RM 67-01?
The RM 67-01 Automatic Winding Extra Flat is Richard Mille’s extra-flat “lifestyle” watch, unveiled in November 2015. Its tonneau case is 38.7 mm wide, 47.52 mm long and 7.75 mm thick, around the skeletonised automatic calibre CRMA6, which shows the hours, minutes and date and has a function indicator for the crown positions. It was launched in titanium and is also made in gold, including gem-set versions.
How much is an RM 67-01?
On Bizak on 19 October 2026, an RM 67-01 costs from $162,749 for a pre-owned red gold RM67-01P2 and $172,049 for a pre-owned red gold RM67-01D with a diamond-set bezel. The white gold diamond-set RM67-01WGD is $204,599, the new red gold RM67-01 is $285,824 and the platinum RM 67-01 is $324,950.
How thin is the RM 67-01, and what size is it?
It is 7.75 mm thick, with a tonneau case 38.7 mm wide and 47.52 mm long, as published at its launch; the calibre CRMA6 inside is 3.60 mm thick. Richard Mille says the tonneau case was first imagined in an extra-flat form for the RM 67-01, making it one of its sleekest tonneau watches. For comparison, Richard Mille’s hand-wound RM UP-01 Ferrari is 1.75 mm thick.
What makes the Richard Mille RM 67-01 different from other Richard Mille models?
Thinness with a full set of everyday functions. Its 3.60 mm automatic calibre keeps a date at 5 o’clock and a function indicator at 2 o’clock, and a platinum rotor with Richard Mille’s OneWay winding system and ceramic ball bearings winds the barrel in a slim movement. The numerals are cut from solid metal and mounted on two titanium rails above the skeletonised movement. Richard Mille presents it as a lifestyle model rather than a sports watch; the RM 67-02 is its sport version.
Which metals does the RM 67-01 come in?
Richard Mille unveiled it in titanium, and its catalogue lists the RM 67-01 in titanium and gold; its own photographs include a white gold version set with baguette-cut stones. Bizak lists red gold (RM67-01 and RM67-01P2), red gold with a diamond-set bezel (RM67-01D), white gold with diamonds (RM67-01WGD) and platinum. Richard Mille calls its rose gold red gold.
What do W, D and H mean on the RM 67-01?
They are the function indicator at 2 o’clock. As you pull out the crown, its hand moves to W (winding), D (date setting) or H (hand setting), so you can see which position the crown is in, much as a car’s gearbox shows its gear. The date itself sits in a vertical window at 5 o’clock and changes semi-instantaneously.
What is the difference between the RM 67-01 and the RM 67-02?
The RM 67-02 is the sport version of the RM 67-01: a Quartz TPT and Carbon TPT case with four extensions, an elastic strap and the calibre CRMA7, which shows only the hours and minutes and is 4.00 mm thick. Richard Mille gives its weight as 32 grams and its water resistance as 30 metres. The RM 67-01 keeps the date and the function indicator in a titanium, gold or gem-set case. On Bizak the RM 67-02 starts at $209,249 and the RM 67-01 at $162,749.
Is the RM 67-01 discontinued?
No. In October 2026 Richard Mille still lists the RM 67-01 Automatic Winding Extra Flat in its current collection, next to the RM 67-02. Its earlier extra-flat automatics, the RM 016 and RM 033, are on Richard Mille’s historical-models list.
What should I check when buying a pre-owned RM 67-01?
Read the reference and serial on the watch against the warranty card, and check that the metal and any stones match the reference: a D or WGD should carry Richard Mille’s own setting, not aftermarket diamonds. Check that the crown moves the indicator through W, D and H and sets the date, ask when the watch was last serviced, and confirm which box, papers and strap come with it. Before dispatch, Bizak confirms the specific sourced watch and arranges its inspection, covering the reference and serial, movement, case, dial and hands, strap, condition and documentation; our authentication page lists each check.
