Two things follow from the table. The cheapest Patek is a ladies' quartz watch; a mechanical Patek in a man's size starts in the mid US$20,000s and only in gold, because the only steel men's models Patek makes are the Aquanaut and the Nautilus family, which are allocated rather than sold. What is an entry-level Patek?
Collectors use "entry-level" for three different things, so decide which one you mean:
- Cheapest by price: the Twenty~4 quartz in steel, then the Calatrava 5196 in yellow gold.
- Entry-level for a man's daily watch: the Calatrava 5196, 6119 or 5227, or the Golden Ellipse. All gold, all dress watches, all obtainable.
- Entry-level sports Patek: the Aquanaut 5167A. The cheapest steel men's Patek at retail, but almost never available at retail. On the secondary market it costs more than the gold Calatravas above.

Which country has the cheapest Patek Philippe?
