Rolex Datejust 36 126234 in Oystersteel and white gold with fluted bezel and green dial

The Rolex Datejust 36 126234 is the 36 mm White Rolesor Datejust: an Oystersteel case with an 18 ct white gold fluted bezel, a date with Cyclops, the calibre 3235 with 70 hours of power reserve, and a choice of Oyster or Jubilee bracelet. Rolex introduced the current generation in 2018 as the successor to the 116234, and it is still in production. This guide covers the specifications, the dials and bracelets Bizak lists, how the 126234 compares with the steel 126200 and the 41 mm 126334, how it wears, what Bizak's catalogue asked on 1 October 2026 and what to check before buying. Bizak & Co. sources the 126234 to order; the Datejust collection lists the configurations we can seek.

What is White Rolesor, and why a fluted bezel?

Rolesor is Rolex's name for a combination of Oystersteel and gold. In White Rolesor the gold is 18 ct white gold, so the bezel and, on some bracelets, the centre links look silver-white and sit very close to the steel case in colour. The 126234 pairs that with the fluted bezel, the Datejust's long-standing signature. The effect is a dressier watch than the smooth-bezel steel Datejust without the yellow-gold warmth of the Rolesor models. Because the gold and steel are different metals, they age and polish differently, which is worth bearing in mind on a pre-owned watch.

Which 126234 dials and bracelets does Bizak list?

On 1 October 2026 our sourced catalogue held 37 active 126234 listings across dial colours, bracelet types and motif dials. A representative selection of plain-dial examples, all asks sourced to order:

SKU Dial Bracelet Bizak catalogue ask, 1 Oct 2026
126234BKSO Black Oyster US$11,252
126234SRDO Silver Oyster US$11,810
126234WRO White Oyster US$12,375
126234BLDO Blue Oyster US$12,740
126234SSO Silver Oyster US$13,738
126234BSJ Black Jubilee US$14,235
126234GSJ Green Jubilee US$15,035
126234BLSJ Blue Jubilee US$16,005

The full listing ran from US$11,252 to US$20,088, with motif and special dials at the top. The same reference appears under many codes, so the SKU matters less than the dial, the bracelet and the year; ask for photographs of the exact watch.

Choose the 126234 for a fluted bezel at the classic 36 mm size, the 126200 for an all-steel Datejust with a plainer bezel, and the Datejust 41 family if you want a larger case. These are different references, not variants of one watch, so check the card before you pay.

Oyster or Jubilee bracelet on the 126234?

Both are offered. The Oyster is three-piece and sportier, reads cleaner against the fluted bezel and carries the Easylink extension for small size changes. The Jubilee has five-piece links that drape more softly and make the watch look dressier. The choice is about look and feel rather than value: the asks above show Jubilee examples listed higher than Oyster ones in this catalogue, but the dial and the year move the price at least as much. If you can, try both on your wrist before deciding.

How does the Datejust 126234 wear?

At 36 mm the 126234 is the classic Datejust size and suits wrists of roughly 15 to 18 cm (5.9 to 7.1 inches). The fluted bezel catches light and gives the watch a little more presence than the smooth-bezel steel version, and the sapphire and Cyclops sit slightly proud. It is thin enough to slide under a cuff and robust enough for everyday wear at 100 m of water resistance. Because the bezel is white gold and the case is steel, scratches show differently on each metal under raking light; ask for photographs of the bezel and case sides before you pay for a pre-owned example.

How much is a Rolex Datejust 126234? Dated prices

  • Retail. The 126234 is in production, so Rolex lists a current price for each dial and bracelet on its Datejust pages; prices change with each list, and we do not repeat a figure here.
  • Bizak catalogue asks. On 1 October 2026 our sourced catalogue listed 126234 examples from US$11,252 to US$20,088 across dials and bracelets, with plain dials mostly between US$11,252 and US$16,330, all sourced to order.
  • Wholesale demand. Our Q2 2026 wholesale report counted 31 want-to-buy requests for the 126234 between 1 April and 23 June 2026, the eighth most-requested reference in that report. A want-to-buy count is a measure of interest, not of sales or of price.

Those figures describe what we saw and will move. Ask for a dated quote for the exact dial, bracelet and year; our Rolex price guide explains how to compare quotes.

Buying a used 126234: what to check

  • Reference and card. The card and case should read 126234, with a dial description that matches the dial in the photographs.
  • Bezel. Fluted white gold with sharp flutes; soft, rounded flutes mean polishing.
  • Dial. Even printing and lacquer, markers aligned, and no signs of a replacement dial at service.
  • Bracelet. On a Jubilee, check for stretch and rattling links; on an Oyster, check the clasp and Easylink for smooth operation.
  • Date function. The date should jump cleanly at midnight and change quickly with the crown.
  • Card date. The date on the warranty card should match the year in the quote, and tell you how much of the five-year warranty remains.
  • Price against the band. A complete 126234 offered well below the asks above is the most reliable warning sign.
