The Vacheron Constantin Overseas Dual Time 7900V/110A-B333 is the travel-time version of the Overseas in stainless steel with a silvered dial: a 41 mm case with the six-sided Overseas bezel, the in-house calibre 5110 DT with a second time-zone hand, a day and night indicator and a date, the Hallmark of Geneva, and the three-strap system that lets the steel bracelet swap for rubber or leather without tools. Vacheron Constantin introduced the Dual Time 7900V in 2018, two years after the third-generation Overseas launched. This guide covers the specifications, how the dual-time display works, how the silver dial compares with the blue and black dials and the pink gold version, how it wears against the Overseas Self-winding and Chronograph, price context in 2026 and what to check before buying. Bizak & Co. sources the 7900V/110A-B333 to order; the Overseas Dual Time collection lists the configurations we can seek.

How does the Overseas Dual Time display work?
The 7900V shows two time zones with two hour hands from the centre. The main hour and minute hands show local time. A second, skeletonised hour hand reads home time against the same 12-hour dial, and a small day and night window near 9 o'clock tells you whether home time is morning or evening, which a 12-hour hand cannot do on its own. The date sits in a sub-dial at 6 o'clock and follows local time. When you land, the local hour hand moves in one-hour jumps from the crown so the minutes and the running seconds are not disturbed, and the date follows if you cross midnight. It is the same logic as a Rolex GMT-Master II or a Patek Philippe Nautilus Travel Time, with the difference that Vacheron Constantin reads home time on a 12-hour hand plus an AM and PM window rather than on a 24-hour hand and bezel. For a traveller who checks home time at a glance, it is quicker to read; for someone who wants a third time zone from a rotating bezel, it is not that watch.
Silver, blue or black dial, or pink gold?
| 7900V/110A-B333 silver | 7900V/110A-B334 blue | 7900V/110A-B546 black | 7900V/000R-B336 pink gold | |

| Case | Steel | Steel | Steel | 18 ct 5N pink gold |
| Dial | Silvered sunburst | Blue sunburst; the launch colour and the most requested | Black sunburst; the later addition | Silvered sunburst with gold markers |
| Look | Dressiest of the steel three; reads as a travel watch for the office | The Overseas most people picture | Quietest; works on the rubber strap best | Gold with a steel-watch layout |
| Bizak catalogue, 4 Oct 2026 | US$25,999 brand new | US$30,899 and US$33,581 pre-owned | US$27,999 brand new | US$40,546 brand new |
All three steel dials cost the same at retail, so the gap in the secondary market is demand. On October 4, 2026 our catalogue asked more for a pre-owned blue dial than for a brand new silver dial, which tells you where the demand sits. The silver dial is the value route into the steel Dual Time and the one that looks least like every other Overseas on the wrist; it also hides small scratches on the crystal and bracelet less than the blue, so look at it in person if you can.
Dual Time vs Overseas Self-winding vs Overseas Chronograph
| Dual Time 7900V | Self-winding 4500V | Chronograph 5500V | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Case | 41 mm, about 12.8 mm thick | 41 mm, about 11 mm thick | 42.5 mm, about 13.7 mm thick |
| Movement | 5110 DT, 60 h | 5100, 60 h | 5200, 52 h, column wheel |
| Complication | Second time zone, day and night, date | Date | Chronograph, date |
| Water resistance | 150 m | 150 m | 150 m |
| Who it suits | Frequent travellers; one watch for two homes | The cleanest dial; the entry point to the line | Buyers who want the busiest dial and the largest case |
The Self-winding is the purist's Overseas and the thinnest; the Dual Time adds under 2 mm of thickness for a complication you use every trip; the Chronograph is a different proposition in size and weight. If you never cross time zones, the 4500V is the better buy; if you do it monthly, the 7900V is the one you will keep.
How does the Overseas Dual Time 7900V wear?
At 41 mm and about 12.8 mm thick, the Dual Time sits like a modern steel sports watch, a little thicker than the Self-winding but well under the Chronograph. The integrated bracelet drops straight from the case with short lugs, so the watch wears smaller than its diameter suggests and fits wrists from about 16.5 cm (6.5 inches) upward. The bracelet's comfort adjustment in the clasp gives a few millimetres without tools, which matters in Miami heat. The quick-change system is the practical advantage over a Royal Oak or a Nautilus: the rubber strap turns it into a weekend watch in seconds and the alligator strap into a dinner watch, and all three are in the box from new. Weight on the bracelet is substantial but balanced; on rubber it is light enough to forget. The silver dial has strong luminous markers and hands, so night legibility is better than the dressy look implies.
How much is a Vacheron Constantin Overseas Dual Time? Price context in 2026
- Retail. Vacheron Constantin's US list price for the steel Overseas Dual Time has sat in the low-to-mid US$30,000s in recent years and the current figure is on the brand's product page. Boutique allocation for the blue dial has at times meant a wait; the silver and black dials have generally been easier to obtain.
- Secondary market. In 2025 and 2026, unworn steel Dual Times with the full set have generally been offered below list for the silver and black dials and around list for the blue dial. The Overseas has not carried the premiums seen on the Royal Oak or Nautilus, which makes it the one of the three integrated-bracelet steel watches you can buy new at a sensible price.
- Bizak catalogue asks. Bizak's sourced catalogue listed the 7900V/110A-B333 silver dial at US$25,999 brand new on October 4, 2026, alongside the black dial 7900V/110A-B546 at US$27,999 brand new, two pre-owned blue dial 7900V/110A-B334 examples at US$30,899 and US$33,581, and the pink gold 7900V/000R-B336 at US$40,546 brand new, all sourced to order.
Those figures describe what we saw on that date and will move. Ask for a dated quote for the exact dial, year and card; our Audemars Piguet price guide and Patek Philippe price guide show how the Overseas's two closest rivals are priced for comparison.
Is the Overseas Dual Time a good investment?
It is a watch to own rather than to trade. The steel Overseas has held value well compared with most watches at this price but has not appreciated like the Royal Oak 15500 or the Nautilus 5711 did, which also means you are not paying a speculative premium to get one. The blue dial has the strongest resale; the silver dial is cheaper to buy and will resell for a little less. The Hallmark of Geneva, the in-house calibre and the three-strap set are what you are paying for, and they are the reasons a Dual Time keeps its value better than a non-integrated travel watch from a lesser house. Buy it because you travel and want one watch; if resale matters, buy the full set with all three straps and the Vacheron Constantin warranty card, and ask us for a written cash-buy assessment before you commit.
Buying an Overseas Dual Time 7900V: what to check
- Warranty card and reference. The card should read 7900V/110A-B333 with the serial, the retailer stamp and the date. Vacheron Constantin also registers the watch digitally; ask whether the warranty has been activated and when.
- Three straps and tools. A full set includes the steel bracelet, the rubber strap and the alligator strap, each with its quick-change fitting, plus the folding clasp for the straps. A missing strap costs real money to replace through the brand.
- Quick-change fittings. Each bracelet and strap should click on and off cleanly; a fitting that needs force has been bent.
- Dual-time function. From the crown, the local hour hand should jump in one-hour steps without moving the minutes; the day and night window should change at the correct hours; the date should advance when the local hand passes midnight.
- Case and bezel. The six-sided bezel is polished on top with brushed flanks; the brushing should run evenly with sharp transitions. Soft edges mean polishing, which is hard to do well on this bezel.
- Caseback and rotor. Through the sapphire, the 22 ct gold rotor with the wind-rose and the Hallmark of Geneva on the movement should be visible; a dark or discoloured rotor suggests moisture.
- Bracelet clasp. The triple-blade clasp should close with a firm click and the comfort adjustment should move freely; check the clasp cover for deep scratches.
- Price against the band. A full-set steel Overseas offered well under the market is the single most reliable warning sign.
