Rolex GMT-Master II 126710GRNR Bruce Wayne with grey and black Cerachrom bezel on Jubilee bracelet

The Rolex GMT-Master II 126710GRNR is the steel GMT-Master II with a grey and black Cerachrom bezel, introduced at Watches and Wonders 2024 and nicknamed the "Bruce Wayne" because it is a darker sibling of the blue and black "Batman". It shares the 40 mm Oystersteel case, calibre 3285 and 70-hour power reserve with the rest of the current steel GMT line and is offered on either the Oyster or the Jubilee bracelet. This guide covers the specifications, the bezel and bracelet choices, how it compares with the Batman and the Pepsi, retail and dealer prices in 2026, and what to check before buying. Bizak & Co. sources the 126710GRNR to order; the GMT-Master II collection lists the configurations we can seek.

Where does the Bruce Wayne nickname come from?

Rolex never names its bezels; collectors do. The blue and black 116710BLNR of 2013 became the "Batman" for its dark two-tone bezel, and when the grey and black steel model arrived in 2024 the trade reached for Batman's alter ego. The same grey and black bezel had appeared a year earlier on the yellow Rolesor 126713GRNR and the yellow gold 126718GRNR, but those carry no widely used nickname. Our Rolex nicknames guide covers the rest of the family.

Bracelets Oyster or Jubilee Oyster or Jubilee Oyster or Jubilee

Case, movement, dial and price at retail are the same across all three. Choose by colour and by how much you want to pay above retail: the Bruce Wayne is usually the cheapest route into a current steel GMT-Master II. The Batman guide and Pepsi guide cover the other two.

Oyster or Jubilee bracelet?

The Oyster is the three-link tool bracelet: flatter, more rigid, sportier. The Jubilee is the five-link bracelet from the 1945 Datejust: more articulated, dressier, and the one Rolex fitted to the original GMT-Master in 1955. Both use the Oysterlock clasp with the Easylink extension. On the wrist the Jubilee drapes better and hides wrist bones; the Oyster feels more solid. Rolex prices the Jubilee a little higher at retail, and dealers usually ask more for it. Either bracelet can be swapped later by a Rolex service centre, but buying the one you want is cheaper than changing it.

How much is a Rolex Bruce Wayne? Retail and dealer prices in 2026

  • Retail. Rolex's US list price for the steel GMT-Master II has sat in the low-to-mid US$11,000s in 2026, with the Jubilee a few hundred dollars above the Oyster; the current figure is on the Rolex product page linked above. Allocation favours established authorised-dealer clients, though the Bruce Wayne has been easier to obtain than the Pepsi.
  • Secondary market. In 2025 and 2026, unworn full-set 126710GRNR examples have generally been asked in the high US$10,000s to low US$20,000s, with the Jubilee at the top of that range.
  • Bizak catalogue asks. On 12 September 2026 our sourced catalogue listed the Jubilee at US$19,529 brand new and US$18,134 pre-owned, and the Oyster at US$18,599 brand new and US$17,204 pre-owned, all sourced to order.

Those figures describe what we saw and will move. Ask for a dated quote for the exact bracelet, year and card; our Rolex price guide explains how to compare quotes.

Is the 126710GRNR a good investment?

It is the least speculative of the steel GMT-Master IIs because it carries the smallest premium, which also means the least to lose if premiums keep narrowing. A full-set example bought near the market should return most of its price for years. It is not a watch to buy above retail in the hope of a rise. Buy it to wear; if resale matters, ask for a written cash-buy assessment before you commit.

Buying a used 126710GRNR: what to check

  • Warranty card. Card serial and rehaut engraving should match; every 126710GRNR is inside its five-year warranty until at least 2029. Rolex does not reissue cards.
  • Bezel. The grey and black insert should be chip-free and turn in 24 firm clicks in both directions; the colour boundary should sit exactly at 6 and 18.
  • GMT function. Pull the crown to the first position and the 12-hour hand should jump in one-hour steps independently of the 24-hour hand.
  • Case and bracelet. Sharp lug chamfers and even brushing; Jubilee centre links should be bright, not scratched flat.
  • Dial. A 126710GRNR dial reads "GMT-Master II" with "Superlative Chronometer Officially Certified" and has a green 24-hour hand; a blue or red hand on a grey bezel means swapped parts.
  • Price against the band. A full-set Bruce Wayne offered well under the market is the single most reliable warning sign.
