The Rolex Pepsi GMT-Master II 126710BLRO is the steel GMT-Master II with a red and blue Cerachrom ceramic bezel: a 40 mm Oystersteel case, black dial, the calibre 3285 with 70 hours of power reserve and a choice of Jubilee or Oyster bracelet. Rolex introduced it in 2018 on the Jubilee and added the Oyster in 2021, returning the red and blue bezel to steel for the first time since the aluminium-bezel 16710 left the catalogue in 2007. The nickname spans three generations, so the reference matters: 16710 is the aluminium Pepsi, 126710BLRO is the steel ceramic Pepsi and 126719BLRO is the white gold Pepsi. This guide covers the specifications, the Jubilee versus Oyster decision, how the 126710BLRO compares with the 16710 and with the other ceramic GMT nicknames, dealer prices in 2026 and what to check before buying. Bizak & Co. sources the 126710BLRO to order; the Pepsi collection lists the configurations we can seek.

How does the GMT-Master II work?
The GMT-Master II shows three time zones. The 12-hour hand jumps in one-hour steps from the first crown position without stopping the seconds, so local time is set on arrival; the 24-hour hand stays on home time and reads against the bezel's 24-hour scale; and rotating the bezel offsets the 24-hour hand to a third zone. The red half of the Pepsi bezel covers 6 to 18, the daylight hours, and the blue half covers the night, which was the original 1955 logic for Pan Am crews. The 3285 movement, introduced in 2018 with this reference, replaced the 3186 and brought the Chronergy escapement and 70 hours of reserve, enough to leave the watch on a table from Friday evening to Monday morning.
Jubilee or Oyster on the 126710BLRO?
| Jubilee (126710BLRO-0001) | Oyster (126710BLRO-0002) | |
|---|---|---|
| Available since | 2018 | 2021 |
| Look | Five-piece links with polished centres; the bracelet most people picture on the ceramic Pepsi and the one on the 1950s original | Three-piece brushed links; the sportier, tool-watch look shared with the Submariner |
| Wear | Drapes more closely, lighter feel; polished centres pick up hairline scratches | Stiffer, feels more substantial; brushed surfaces hide wear |
| Bizak catalogue, 21 Sep 2026 | US$21,389 brand new; US$18,599 pre-owned | US$19,529 brand new; US$18,134 pre-owned |
Both are the same reference with the same case, so a Jubilee watch can wear an Oyster bracelet and vice versa, though a bracelet bought separately from Rolex is expensive and a watch sold with the "wrong" bracelet from its card is worth less. The Jubilee is the more requested and carries a higher ask; the Oyster is the value route to the same watch.
126710BLRO vs 16710: ceramic Pepsi or aluminium Pepsi?
| 126710BLRO | 16710 Pepsi | |
|---|---|---|
| Years | 2018 to date | 1989 to 2007 |
| Bezel insert | Cerachrom ceramic; does not fade, can chip | Anodised aluminium; fades and scratches, easily swapped for Coke or black |
| Movement | 3285, 70 h, Chronergy | 3185, then 3186 on the last examples, 48 h |
| Case | 40 mm, solid end links, Easylink clasp | 40 mm, slimmer lugs, drilled lug holes on early examples, hollow end links |
| Lume | Chromalight, blue | Tritium to about 1998, then Luminova and Super-LumiNova, green |
| Warranty | Five years from Rolex on a new watch | None from Rolex |
| Bizak catalogue, 21 Sep 2026 | US$18,134 to 21,389 | Pre-owned 16710 examples from US$10,229 to 14,879, depending on year, bezel and set |
The 126710BLRO is the one to buy for a bezel that stays red and blue and a movement with a modern reserve. The 16710 is the lighter, slimmer watch with a vintage following, and because its bezel inserts interchange, a Pepsi 16710 may have started life as a Coke or a black bezel; that is fine if it is priced as such. Note that Rolex's GMT-Master II lineage begins in 1983 with the 16760; the GMT-Master without the II runs from 1955 to 1999 and is a separate collection, listed in our GMT-Master collection.
Pepsi vs Batman vs Sprite vs Bruce Wayne: which ceramic GMT is which?
| Nickname | Reference | Bezel | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Pepsi | 126710BLRO | Red and blue | Jubilee or Oyster; the original GMT colours |
| Batman | 126710BLNR | Blue and black | Called Batgirl on the Jubilee by some collectors; see the Batman guide |
| Sprite | 126720VTNR | Green and black | Left-hand crown and date at 9; see the Sprite guide |
| Bruce Wayne | 126710GRNR | Grey and black | The quiet one; see the Bruce Wayne guide |
| Root Beer | 126711CHNR | Brown and black | Everose Rolesor; see the Root Beer guide |
There is no ceramic Coke in the current catalogue; the red and black bezel exists only on the aluminium 16710 and 16760. The watch nicknames guide covers the rest.
How does the 126710BLRO wear?
At 40 mm with a lug-to-lug of about 48 mm and a thickness of about 12 mm, the GMT-Master II is the most wearable of the steel Rolex professional models, slimmer than a Submariner and smaller than an Explorer II. The 2018 case has the slimmer lugs Rolex introduced across the range, so it sits flatter than the 2007 to 2018 116710 with its wide "maxi" case. On the Jubilee it wears like a dress-sport watch; on the Oyster it wears like a tool. The red and blue bezel is bright in daylight and the white gold surrounds keep the black dial legible at night. Wrists from about 15.5 cm (6.1 inches) upward carry it comfortably.
How much is a Rolex Pepsi GMT-Master II 126710BLRO? Dealer prices in 2026
- Retail. Rolex's US list price for the steel 126710BLRO sat in the low US$11,000s in 2025, with the Jubilee a little above the Oyster; confirm the current figure with an authorised dealer, since the Rolex US product page was not reachable when we checked in September 2026. At retail, the Pepsi has been one of the hardest steel Rolex models to be allocated, with waits of years at most dealers; the Rolex waitlist guide explains why.
- Secondary market. In 2025 and 2026 unworn, full-set 126710BLRO examples have generally been asked at a substantial premium to retail, with the Jubilee at the top, and pre-owned full sets somewhat below that. The premium is larger than on the Batman or Bruce Wayne and smaller than it was at the 2022 peak.
- Bizak catalogue asks. On 21 September 2026 our sourced catalogue listed the Jubilee at US$21,389 brand new and US$18,599 pre-owned, the Oyster at US$19,529 brand new and US$18,134 pre-owned, all sourced to order. For context, the white gold 126719BLRO with a blue dial was listed at US$43,245 and the meteorite dial at US$50,219 brand new and US$46,499 pre-owned.
- What moves the price. Jubilee over Oyster, full set with box and card, a late warranty date, an unpolished case and an unchipped bezel each add; a watch-only example, a chipped or replaced insert or a mismatched bracelet each subtract.
Those figures describe what we saw and will move. Ask for a dated quote for the exact bracelet, year and set; our Rolex price guide explains how to compare quotes.
Is the Pepsi 126710BLRO a good investment?
It is the reference that best combines recognition, wearability and liquidity in the steel Rolex range, which is why it holds a premium that most other models have lost. That premium is also the risk: a buyer at US$20,000 for a watch listed at retail in the low US$11,000s is paying for scarcity, and scarcity is a Rolex production decision. If Rolex increases supply or the reference is discontinued and replaced, the premium will move, in either direction. Buy it to wear the red and blue; if resale matters, buy a full set on the Jubilee and ask for a written cash-buy assessment before you commit.
Buying a used 126710BLRO: what to check
- Reference and bezel. The rehaut reads the serial at 6 and "ROLEX" around; the caseback interior and card confirm 126710BLRO. A red and blue bezel on a 116710 case is an aftermarket insert, not a Pepsi.
- Bezel condition. Check the ceramic edge for chips under a loupe, especially at the boundary between red and blue where a knock shows most; platinum numerals should be crisp and even.
- Bracelet match. The warranty card records the bracelet the watch left Rolex with; a Jubilee watch on an Oyster, or the reverse, should be priced accordingly.
- Card and serial. The card serial should match the rehaut engraving; every 126710BLRO is within a few years of its five-year warranty. Rolex does not reissue cards.
- GMT function. From the first crown position the 12-hour hand should jump in hour steps while the 24-hour hand and seconds keep running; the bezel should click through 24 positions in both directions with no play.
- Case and clasp. Sharp lug chamfers and even brushing; the Easylink should snap in and out and the Oysterlock should hold. Jubilee centre links show scratches quickly and are not a defect.
- Price against the band. A full-set Jubilee Pepsi offered well under the market is the single most reliable warning sign.

Quick answers
How much is a Rolex Pepsi GMT-Master II 126710BLRO?
Rolex's US list price sat in the low US$11,000s in 2025. Bizak's sourced catalogue listed the Jubilee at US$21,389 brand new and US$18,599 pre-owned, and the Oyster at US$19,529 brand new and US$18,134 pre-owned, on 21 September 2026, sourced to order.
What is the difference between the Pepsi and the Batman?
The Pepsi 126710BLRO has a red and blue bezel; the Batman 126710BLNR has a blue and black bezel. Both are 40 mm steel GMT-Master IIs with the calibre 3285 and the same choice of Jubilee or Oyster bracelet.
Is the 126710BLRO on Jubilee or Oyster?
Both. Rolex launched it on the Jubilee in 2018 and added the Oyster bracelet in 2021. The Jubilee is the more requested and usually carries a higher ask.
What movement is in the Rolex Pepsi 126710BLRO?
Calibre 3285, Rolex's automatic GMT movement with an independently adjustable 12-hour hand, Chronergy escapement and 70 hours of power reserve, introduced with this reference in 2018.
Is the 16710 a Pepsi?
It can be. The 16710, made from 1989 to 2007, was sold with red and blue, red and black or all-black aluminium bezel inserts, and inserts interchange, so a 16710 is a Pepsi when it wears the red and blue insert.
