Short answer: Sundust is Rolex's name for a pale pink sunray dial, used in its 2026 catalog only on Everose gold and Everose Rolesor watches. Rolex lists it on 20 models: eight Cosmograph Daytonas, led by the 126505 on an Everose Oyster bracelet ($59,100) and the 126515LN on an Oysterflex ($44,800), four Day-Date 40s and eight Datejust 41s. No current Sky-Dweller has one. On October 19, 2026 Bizak's asks for a new Daytona with the Sundust dial started at $40,919 for a 126515LN and $50,219 for a 126505.

What is a Rolex Sundust dial?
Rolex describes it as a sunray dial: brushing cuts grooves outwards from the centre, so light moves across it as the wrist turns. The colour is then applied by physical vapour deposition or electroplating and finished with a light coat of varnish. In Rolex's images it is a pale, metallic pink.
Rolex pairs it with Everose, the 18 kt pink gold alloy it patented and casts in its own foundry, used on all its pink gold Oyster models since 2005. In 2026 every Sundust model is a 40 or 41 mm Everose watch. Rolex's pink dial for its 28 to 36 mm Everose watches is called rosé-colour, and its champagne-colour dials come only with yellow gold.
Sundust Daytona: the eight 2026 models
All are 40 mm in 18 kt Everose gold, with calibre 4131 (about 72 hours) and a Chromalight display. Rolex names the main dial colour first: “Sundust and bright black” is a Sundust dial with black counters, “bright black and Sundust” a black dial with Sundust counters.

126505 or 126515LN: bezel, bracelet and price

Earlier Sundust Daytonas: 116505 and 116515LN
Before 2023 the Everose Daytona came as the 116505 on an Oyster bracelet and the 116515LN with a black Cerachrom bezel (Rolex introduced that bezel on the Daytona in 2011 and the Oysterflex on its gold versions in 2017). Both use calibre 4130, which Rolex unveiled in 2000, and both came with Sundust dials, with black counters or baguette diamonds. Bizak's asks on October 19:
- $43,709 for a new 116505 with a Sundust dial and black counters
- $67,716 for a new 116505 with a Sundust baguette-diamond dial

Black-dial versions of both generations are in our gold Rolex black dial guide.
Sundust Day-Date 40: 228235 and 228345RBR

Sundust Datejust 41: 126331 and 126301
The least expensive current Sundust Rolex is the Datejust 41 in Everose Rolesor (Oystersteel and Everose gold), with calibre 3235 (about 70 hours) and Chromalight index markers or a diamond-set dial. A Jubilee bracelet adds $650.
- 126331, fluted Everose bezel: $17,550 list, $19,650 with diamonds. Bizak asks from $15,563 new on the Oyster bracelet, $16,647 with diamonds, or $14,410 pre-owned on a Jubilee.
- 126301, smooth bezel: $17,450 list, $19,550 with diamonds. Bizak asks from $16,554 new with diamonds and $16,810 with index markers.
Our Datejust 41 126331 guide compares its other dials.
Sky-Dweller and Lady-Datejust: earlier Sundust references
Rolex's 2026 catalog has no Sundust Sky-Dweller: the Everose 336935 (Oyster bracelet $63,700, or Jubilee since 2024 at $64,900) and the 336235 on an Oysterflex ($53,450) come in chocolate, intense white and slate, plus blue-green on the 336935. Sundust belongs to the earlier 326935 on an Oyster bracelet and 326135 on a leather strap, both with Roman numerals and calibre 9001, which calibre 9002 replaced in 2023. Bizak asked $29,975 for a pre-owned 326135 with the Sundust Roman dial; our Sky-Dweller guide covers both generations.
The 2026 Lady-Datejust has no Sundust option either; Bizak lists earlier Sundust 279161 and 279171 models from $8,789 new.
Buying checks for a Sundust Rolex
- Read the dial name in order: the two Sundust Daytona dials share a reference and a list price, so confirm the dial from photos of the specific watch.
- Ask for daylight and indoor photos: a sunray finish shifts with the light, and one photo can make Sundust look like champagne or rosé.
- Check the generation: the 2023 Daytona has a redesigned dial and case, a metal-edged Cerachrom bezel and calibre 4131 (the 116xxx used 4130), and the two generations' asks overlap.
- Factory diamonds: each diamond-set Sundust dial is a separate Rolex model, so the layout should match one; see our factory vs aftermarket diamond guide.
