The Rolex Datejust 41 126334 with the blue fluted-motif dial is the white Rolesor Datejust 41, a 41 mm Oystersteel case with an 18 ct white gold fluted bezel, fitted with a blue dial whose surface carries the same radial fluting as the bezel, on a five-link Jubilee bracelet. Inside is the calibre 3235 with 70 hours of power reserve. The fluted-motif dial is one of the newest dial treatments in the Datejust range: Rolex first showed it in 2023 and it has since reached the 41 mm case in blue, green and other colours. This guide covers the specifications, what the fluted-motif dial is and how it differs from the plain blue index dial on the same reference, the other 126334 dials in the catalogue, Jubilee versus Oyster, how the 126334 compares with the steel 126300 and the yellow and Everose Rolesor 126333 and 126331, how the watch wears, dated dealer asks and what to check before buying. Bizak & Co. sources the 126334 to order; the Rolex Datejust collection lists the configurations we can seek.

What is the fluted-motif dial and when did Rolex introduce it?
A fluted-motif dial carries a pattern of fine radial grooves that fan out from the centre of the dial, so the dial repeats the look of the fluted bezel that has defined the Datejust since 1945. On the blue version the grooves catch light in bands: under a lamp the dial reads as a deep, mostly uniform blue, and in daylight the fluting shows as alternating light and dark rays that move as the wrist turns. The effect is quieter than a diamond-paved dial and busier than the plain sunray blue, which is why buyers describe it as a dressy dial rather than a sporty one.
Rolex introduced the fluted-motif dial at its 2023 novelties, first on the Datejust 31, where it appeared in several colours. The pattern then spread to the larger cases, and by 2024 the Datejust 41 126334 was offered with fluted-motif dials, including this blue version, alongside the long-running plain dials. The motif is produced on the dial blank before the colour is applied, which is why the fluting sits under the blue finish rather than on top of it, and why the applied white gold markers and the printed minute track sit flat on top of the pattern.
Two points matter when you shop for one. First, the fluted motif is a dial option, not a separate reference: every 126334 shares the same case, bezel, movement and bracelets, and only the dial code on the warranty card changes. Second, Rolex pairs the motif with the fluted bezel on the 126334, so the case and dial are one visual idea; on the smooth-bezel 126300 the same fluted-motif dial reads differently because the bezel does not echo it.
Blue fluted motif or plain blue index dial: which 126334?
| Blue fluted motif | Plain blue index | |
|---|---|---|
| Dial surface | Radial fluting under the blue finish | Sunray brushed blue |
| Markers | Applied white gold batons with Chromalight | Applied white gold batons with Chromalight |
| Catalogue since | Newer, mid-2020s addition | From the reference's launch in 2017 |
| Secondary availability | Fewer examples; harder to find pre-owned | The most common 126334 of all |
| Bizak catalogue ask, October 10, 2026 | US$19,920 on Jubilee; US$15,581 on Oyster | From about US$14,520 pre-owned on Jubilee |
The decision is about the dial pattern and nothing else. If you want the most recognised Datejust 41 of the last decade, the plain blue index dial is the safer choice and the easier one to buy and later to sell; our sister guide to the 126334 blue index dial on Jubilee covers that watch in detail. If you want the dial to answer the bezel, the fluted motif is the one, and its scarcity on the secondary market is reflected in the asks above.
Which other dials does the 126334 come with?
The 126334 is the most dial-rich steel Datejust 41 because the white gold bezel suits almost every colour. The table lists the configurations in Bizak's sourced catalogue on October 10, 2026, with the dated asks; all are sourced to order and every figure will move.
| 126334 dial | Bracelet | Bizak catalogue ask, October 10, 2026 |
|---|---|---|
| Blue fluted motif | Jubilee | US$19,920 |
| Blue fluted motif | Oyster | US$15,581 |
| Mint green fluted motif | Jubilee | US$16,899 |
| Green fluted motif | Jubilee | US$17,327 |
| Mint green, plain | Oyster | US$17,640 |
| Blue index, plain | Jubilee | from US$14,520 pre-owned |
| Blue with diamond markers | Jubilee | US$15,030 to 15,467 |
| Black index | Jubilee | US$16,170 to 16,344 |
| Slate with green Roman numerals (Wimbledon) | Jubilee | US$15,496 pre-owned to 17,875 unworn 2025 |
| Silver or white index | Jubilee | US$13,090 to 14,453 pre-owned |
| Ice blue index | Jubilee or Oyster | US$13,949 to 14,879 |
Three patterns stand out. The fluted-motif dials carry the highest asks on the reference, and the blue fluted motif on Jubilee is the highest of all. The Wimbledon, the slate dial with green Roman numerals, is the other 126334 with a following of its own and a name; the watch-nicknames glossary explains where the name came from. Silver, white and ice blue index dials are the value route to the white gold bezel. The green fluted-motif dial is the natural alternative for a buyer who likes the pattern but wants a colour other than blue; both the green fluted motif on Jubilee and the mint green fluted motif sat below the blue on the date above.
Jubilee or Oyster bracelet on the 126334?
Rolex offers the 126334 on either bracelet, and the choice changes how the watch wears more than any dial does. The Jubilee has five narrow links per row, so it drapes around the wrist and reads as a dress bracelet; it is the bracelet most buyers picture on a fluted-bezel Datejust, and it is the pairing that suits the fluted-motif dial because the polished centre links pick up the same light as the bezel and dial. The Oyster has three wide links, sits flatter and stiffer, and makes the same watch look more like a sports Rolex. Both use the Oysterclasp with the Easylink 5 mm extension on the Datejust 41, so there is no difference in adjustability.
On the secondary market the Jubilee 126334 usually carries a higher ask than the same dial on Oyster, and the blue fluted motif follows that pattern: on October 10, 2026 the gap in Bizak's catalogue was more than US$4,000 between the Jubilee example and the Oyster example. Part of that is demand and part is that the Jubilee example was the scarcer of the two at the time. Bracelets cannot be swapped at an authorised dealer after purchase without the watch being reconfigured, and the warranty card records the bracelet, so decide before you buy rather than planning to change later.
How does the 126334 compare with the 126300, 126333 and 126331?
| 126334 | 126300 | 126333 | 126331 | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Bezel | Fluted, 18 ct white gold | Smooth, Oystersteel | Fluted, 18 ct yellow gold | Fluted, 18 ct Everose gold |
| Case and bracelet | Oystersteel throughout; reads as all steel | Oystersteel throughout | Oystersteel with yellow gold centre links and crown | Oystersteel with Everose centre links and crown |
| Fluted-motif dials offered | Blue, green, mint green and others | Blue and green, with the smooth bezel | Golden fluted motif | Slate and silver fluted motif |
| Movement | 3235, 70 h | 3235, 70 h | 3235, 70 h | 3235, 70 h |
| Years | 2017 to date | 2017 to date | 2016 to date | 2016 to date |
| Bizak catalogue, October 10, 2026, fluted-motif dials | US$15,581 to 19,920 | US$12,297 to 13,662 | US$15,344 (golden, Oyster) | US$13,949 to 20,758 |
The 126334 is the Datejust 41 for a buyer who wants the fluted bezel without visible gold: white gold reads as steel from a distance, so the watch keeps a monochrome look while the bezel has the precious-metal flutes that a steel bezel cannot carry. The 126300 is the same watch with a smooth steel bezel and is the lowest-priced route to a 41 mm Datejust; on the date above the steel 126300 with the blue fluted-motif dial on Jubilee was listed at US$12,297 against US$19,920 for the 126334, so the white gold bezel and the scarcity of the Jubilee example together accounted for the difference. The 126333 and 126331 are the two-tone Rolesor models in yellow and Everose gold; they are warmer, more traditional Datejusts and their fluted-motif dials are tuned to the gold, golden on the 126333 and slate or silver on the 126331. Our general 126334 guide covers the reference across all its dials.
How does the Rolex Datejust 41 126334 wear?
At 41 mm with a lug-to-lug of about 47 mm and a thickness close to 12 mm, the Datejust 41 is a large dress watch rather than a large watch. The lugs are short and curve down, and the fluted bezel is narrow, so the dial is wide and the watch looks bigger than a 41 mm Submariner despite being thinner. It suits wrists from about 17 cm (6.7 inches) upward comfortably; below that it still fits because of the short lugs, but the Datejust 36 is the proportion most smaller wrists prefer. On the Jubilee the weight spreads across the five links and the bracelet tapers toward the clasp, which keeps the head from flopping. The blue fluted-motif dial is not harder to read than the plain blue: the applied markers and hands sit on top of the pattern, and the Chromalight is the same.
The fluted motif changes with the environment more than a sunray dial does. In an office it is a dark navy; outdoors it brightens and the rays become obvious; under a jeweller's lamp it can look almost silver-blue. If you are buying from photographs, ask for three shots: one indoors, one in daylight and one at an angle, and compare them with the catalogue photographs before you commit.
How much is a Rolex Datejust 41 126334 blue fluted motif? Prices in 2026
- Retail. Rolex's US list price for the 126334 on Jubilee has sat in the low-to-mid US$10,000s through 2025 and 2026, with the fluted-motif dials at the same price as the plain dials; the current figure is on the Rolex Datejust page linked above. Authorised dealers allocate the Datejust 41 more readily than the steel sports models, but a specific dial and bracelet can still mean a wait of months.
- Secondary market. In 2026, unworn full-set 126334 examples with the common dials have generally been asked at or a little above retail, and the fluted-motif dials at a clearer premium because fewer have reached the secondary market. Pre-owned examples with plain dials sit below retail. The premium is far smaller than on a Submariner or GMT-Master II.
- Bizak catalogue asks. On October 10, 2026 our sourced catalogue listed the blue fluted motif on Jubilee at US$19,920 and on Oyster at US$15,581, the mint green fluted motif on Jubilee at US$16,899 and the green fluted motif on Jubilee at US$17,327, all sourced to order; the lowest 126334 asks were silver and white index dials from US$13,090 pre-owned.
Those figures describe what we saw and will move. Ask for a dated quote for the exact dial, bracelet, year and card; our Rolex price guide explains how to compare quotes and what a full set adds.
Is the 126334 blue fluted motif a good investment?
It is a watch to own rather than to trade. The Datejust 41 is produced in large numbers and the 126334 has been in the catalogue since 2017, so the plain dials are liquid and move with the general Rolex market rather than ahead of it. The fluted-motif dials are newer and scarcer, which supports their asks today, but Rolex will keep making them for as long as the dial stays in the catalogue, and scarcity premiums on current-production dials tend to narrow as supply catches up. The exception is when Rolex retires a dial: discontinued Datejust dials, the green Roman Wimbledon on the 116334 for example, have held up well once production stopped. Buy the blue fluted motif because you want the dial; if resale matters, buy a full set with the card and keep the links, and ask for a written cash-buy assessment before you commit so you know the exit price on the day.
Buying a used 126334 fluted motif: what to check
- Warranty card and dial code. The card serial should match the rehaut engraving at 6 o'clock, and the model line on the card should include the dial and bracelet codes for a blue fluted-motif dial on Jubilee. A 126334 sold from 2023 onward carries a five-year Rolex warranty, so most fluted-motif examples are still inside it. Rolex does not reissue cards.
- Dial pattern. The flutes should run cleanly from the centre to the edge with no breaks, and the applied markers should sit flush with no trace of glue or lifted feet. A plain blue dial swapped for a fluted-motif dial outside Rolex is rare but possible; a dial code on the card that does not match the dial in the watch is the warning sign.
- Bezel. White gold wears differently from steel: the flute tips are the first place to show flat spots from polishing and small dents from knocks. Look along the bezel at a low angle in daylight; the flutes should be sharp and uniform all the way round.
- Bracelet. Hold the Jubilee by the clasp and let it hang: the links should fall straight with no twist. Check for side-to-side play between links, uneven polishing on the centre links, and that the Easylink extension opens and closes with a positive click. Ask how many links come with the watch; a full-length bracelet matters for resale.
- Case. Sharp lug edges, even brushing on the case flanks and a crisp coronet on the crown. Rounded lug tips mean polishing; the 126334 has only been around since 2017, so heavy polishing on a young watch is a reason to ask why.
- Movement. The date should jump instantly at midnight and set in either direction from the first crown position without hesitation. The calibre 3235 is designed for a long service interval, so a watch from 2023 or later should not need a service yet; a recent service on a young watch deserves a question about what prompted it.
- Price against the band. A full-set blue fluted motif on Jubilee offered well under the dated asks above is the single most reliable warning sign on this configuration.
