The Rolex Datejust 41 reference 126334 with the blue index dial is the Datejust most buyers picture when they say the name: a 41 mm Oystersteel case, an 18 ct white gold fluted bezel, a sunray bright blue dial with applied white gold baton markers, the date at 3 under the Cyclops lens and the five-piece Jubilee bracelet. Rolex introduced the Datejust 41 in 2016 with the calibre 3235 and 70 hours of power reserve, replacing the thicker Datejust II, and the blue dial on Jubilee has been the most requested configuration of the 126334 ever since. This guide covers the specifications, why this exact combination leads the order book, the other dials Rolex offers on the 126334, how it compares with the smooth-bezel 126300 and the two-tone 126333, the Oyster versus Jubilee decision, dated prices and what to check before you buy. Bizak & Co. sources the 126334 to order; the Datejust collection lists the configurations we can seek.

Why is the blue index 126334 on Jubilee the most requested Datejust 41?
Three Datejust signatures meet in one watch. The fluted bezel dates from the original 1945 Datejust, when fluting was the grip that let Rolex screw the bezel down onto the case; on the modern watch it is decorative, cut into solid white gold and polished so that it throws light in a way a steel bezel cannot. The Jubilee bracelet was also designed for the 1945 Datejust and remains the bracelet most people associate with the model. The bright blue sunray dial with plain baton markers is the dial Rolex has photographed most often for the Datejust 41 since 2016, which is why it is the version buyers recognise.
At our desk the pattern is consistent. A buyer who asks for "a Datejust 41" without a colour usually means this one; the next most common requests are the slate Wimbledon dial and the black dial, with the plain white and silver dials behind them. The blue index dial has a wide margin over the blue Roman dial because the baton markers keep the dial clean under the fluted bezel, and over the diamond-set index dial because most buyers of a steel Datejust do not want stones. The result is that the blue index Jubilee is the configuration with the longest authorised dealer queue among steel Datejust 41s and the one that holds its secondary price best. Our general 126334 guide covers the reference across all dials; this page concentrates on the blue index dial.
Which dials does the Rolex 126334 come with?
The 126334 is the steel Datejust 41 with the white gold fluted bezel, and Rolex offers it with more dials than any other steel Datejust 41. The table lists the dials we see regularly, with the asks in Bizak's sourced catalogue on 10 October 2026, all sourced to order. Figures move; treat them as a snapshot.
| Dial | Markers | Bizak catalogue ask, 10 Oct 2026 |
|---|---|---|
| Bright blue, sunray | Applied white gold batons | US$15,682 brand new on Jubilee or Oyster; US$14,520 pre-owned on Jubilee |
| Bright blue, sunray | Roman numerals | US$14,605 brand new on Oyster; US$17,266 on Jubilee |
| Bright blue, sunray | Diamond-set index markers | US$15,467 brand new on Jubilee; US$15,030 pre-owned |
| Blue, fluted motif | Applied batons on a fluted-pattern dial | US$19,920 brand new on Jubilee |
| Slate "Wimbledon" | Green Roman numerals | US$16,225 brand new on Jubilee; US$17,875 unworn 2025 example |
| Black | Applied batons | US$16,344 brand new on Jubilee |
| Silver and white | Applied batons or Romans | US$14,453 pre-owned silver Jubilee; US$13,090 pre-owned white Roman |
| Mint green | Applied batons | US$17,640 brand new on Oyster |
Two of these deserve a word. The slate Wimbledon dial is the one that competes with blue for the top spot on the 126334, and it has its own page in our Wimbledon 126334 guide. The blue fluted motif dial is a newer pattern dial that shares the blue colour but reads very differently in the metal; it is covered in a separate fluted motif 126334 guide and we will not repeat that material here. For the plain blue index dial, the point to take from the table is that it sits at the lower end of the 126334 price spread for a brand new example while being the most requested, which is a function of how many Rolex makes rather than any lack of demand.
126334 vs 126300 vs 126333: which Datejust 41?
| 126334 | 126300 | 126333 | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Metal | Oystersteel case, 18 ct white gold fluted bezel (White Rolesor) | Oystersteel throughout, smooth bezel | Oystersteel case, 18 ct yellow gold fluted bezel, crown and bracelet centre links (Yellow Rolesor) |
| Movement | 3235, 70 h | 3235, 70 h | 3235, 70 h |
| Look | Classic Datejust; the fluting catches light, the metal stays all white | Quietest Datejust 41; reads closer to a sports watch | Two-tone; the warmest and the dressiest of the three |
| Blue dial on Jubilee, Bizak catalogue, 10 Oct 2026 | US$15,682 new; US$14,520 pre-owned | US$12,297 new | Blue is not a 126333 dial; black Jubilee US$17,376 new, champagne Jubilee US$16,246 new and US$15,043 pre-owned |
| Who buys it | Buyers who want the Datejust as Rolex pictures it | Buyers who want the 41 mm case and the 3235 at the lowest entry point | Buyers who want visible gold without a full gold watch |
The three watches share case, movement, crystal and water resistance; the money buys the bezel. The 126300 is the value route to the Datejust 41 and the one we suggest to buyers who find fluting fussy; our 126300 guide has its dial list. The 126333 carries roughly 25 to 30 percent more on the secondary market than the 126334 for the same dial family because of the gold centre links as well as the bezel; the 126333 guide covers it, and the Everose version is in the 126331 guide. The 126334 sits between them: a precious metal bezel, no gold on the bracelet, and the broadest dial choice. If the blue dial is the reason you are buying, the 126334 and the 126300 are the two that offer it.
Oyster or Jubilee bracelet on the 126334?
Rolex sells the blue index 126334 on both bracelets, and in our catalogue on 10 October 2026 both were asked at US$15,682 brand new, so the choice is about look and feel rather than money. The Jubilee has five narrow links with polished centres; it drapes around the wrist, dresses the watch up and matches the fluted bezel, which is why it is the more requested pairing on this reference. The Oyster has three wide brushed links; it is stiffer, hides scratches better and makes the 126334 read more like a sports watch. Both close with the folding Oysterclasp and the Easylink 5 mm comfort extension, and both are fitted with solid links and solid end links.
Practical differences: the Jubilee's polished centre links show hairline marks sooner and are more expensive to refinish; the Oyster's flat links can be brushed back at a service. The Jubilee can be sized a little more finely because its links are shorter. Secondary buyers pay a small premium for the Jubilee on the fluted bezel and for the Oyster on the smooth-bezel 126300; it is worth choosing the pairing you want rather than the one you think will resell, because the gap is modest and bracelets are not interchangeable without the matching end links and a dealer who will fit them.
What changed from the Datejust II 116334?
The Datejust II of 2009 was Rolex's first 41 mm Datejust, and the 116334 was its steel and white gold fluted version. It used the calibre 3136, a 48-hour movement with Paraflex, in a case that was noticeably thick with a wide, flat bezel and heavy lugs; it also came only on the Oyster bracelet. The Datejust 41 of 2016 kept the 41 mm diameter but slimmed the lugs, narrowed the bezel so that the dial opening grew, re-proportioned the case to sit lower, and brought back the Jubilee as an option. Inside, the calibre 3235 brought the Chronergy escapement, the 70-hour power reserve and the Superlative Chronometer certification to plus or minus 2 seconds a day. The dial furniture was redrawn as well: the 126334's batons are longer and slimmer than the Datejust II's blocky markers. On the wrist the two feel like different generations, and the Datejust II now trades at a discount to the 126334 for that reason.
How does the Datejust 41 126334 wear?
At 41 mm with a lug to lug of roughly 47 to 48 mm and a thickness of about 12 mm, the Datejust 41 is large for a dress watch and modest for a sports watch. The narrow bezel makes the dial look bigger than a Submariner's, so the watch reads as a 41 rather than hiding its size. Wrists of about 17 cm (6.7 inches) and up carry it comfortably; below about 16 cm the 36 mm Datejust in the same White Rolesor format, the 126234, is the better fit, and our Datejust 36 126234 guide and Datejust 36 126200 guide cover those. The Jubilee's short links and the Easylink extension mean the watch can be sized closely and then let out on a warm day without tools. The fluted bezel is the only part that needs care: white gold is softer than steel and the fluting will pick up small nicks on door frames, which a Rolex service centre can refinish.
How much is a Rolex Datejust 41 126334 blue dial? Retail and dealer prices in 2026
- Retail. Rolex's US list price for the 126334 has sat in the low US$11,000s in 2026 for the blue index dial, above the all-steel 126300 and well under the two-tone 126333; the current figure for each dial and bracelet is on the Rolex Datejust page linked above. Authorised dealers treat the blue Jubilee as an allocation piece: existing clients are served first and new clients in most markets wait months rather than weeks, as our Rolex waitlist guide explains.
- Secondary market. Through 2025 and into 2026, unworn full-set blue index 126334s on Jubilee have generally been asked at a premium of roughly a third over retail, with lightly worn full sets a little under that. The premium is smaller than on the steel sports models and has been stable rather than rising, which is normal for a reference Rolex produces in volume.
- Bizak catalogue asks. On 10 October 2026 our sourced catalogue listed the blue index 126334 on Jubilee at US$15,682 brand new and US$14,520 pre-owned, the same dial on Oyster at US$15,682 brand new, the blue Roman dial on Oyster at US$14,605, the blue diamond-index dial on Jubilee at US$15,467 brand new and US$15,030 pre-owned, and the 126300 with the blue dial on Jubilee at US$12,297, all sourced to order.
Those figures describe what we saw and will move. A quote depends on the bracelet, the year on the card, whether the watch is unworn with stickers and the dial; ask for a dated quote for the exact configuration. Our Rolex price guide explains how to compare quotes from different dealers.
Is the Datejust 41 126334 a good investment?
It is a watch to own. The blue index 126334 has held a steady premium over retail since the reference launched, and that premium has survived the 2022 to 2024 correction in steel sports prices better than most, because demand is spread across a broad base of first-time Rolex buyers rather than concentrated among traders. It is not a watch that doubles: Rolex makes a great many of them and the price is anchored by retail. Buy it because it is the Datejust you want, keep the card and the box, and expect to sell it later for something near what you paid if the watch is well kept. If resale is the priority, the Wimbledon dial has carried a slightly higher premium in the last two years, and if a first Rolex is the aim, our best first Rolex guide sets the 126334 against the Submariner and the Explorer.
Buying a 126334: what to check
- Warranty card and serial. The card carries the reference 126334 and a serial that must match the engraving on the rehaut between the dial and the crystal. Rolex guarantees the watch for five years from the date on the card and does not reissue cards; a 2021 or later card means guarantee cover into 2026 and beyond.
- Bezel. The fluting should be sharp with mirror-polished flats and no flattened peaks. Over-polishing softens the fluting and is permanent short of a bezel replacement, which is a white gold part and priced accordingly.
- Dial. A genuine blue index 126334 dial carries "Oyster Perpetual Datejust" under the crown, "Superlative Chronometer Officially Certified" above 6, and on later dials a tiny crown at 6 between "Swiss" and "Made"; the sunray should run evenly from the centre and the batons should sit straight with intact Chromalight.
- Date change. The date should jump at midnight in one step and the quickset should advance it cleanly in the first crown position; a date that creeps or lands between numbers points to a movement that needs attention.
- Case and lugs. Look for sharp lug edges, even brushing on the case sides and a crisp transition to the polished bevels. Rounded lugs mean the case has been polished.
- Bracelet. Count the links against a full-length Jubilee, check for stretch by holding the watch by the clasp, and confirm the Easylink opens and the Oysterclasp locks. Polished centre links with deep scratches will need refinishing.
- Box, papers and stickers. A brand new example should come with the green box, the card, the booklets and the hang tag; a watch described as unworn should still carry the caseback sticker and the bezel protector.
- Price against the band. A full-set blue Jubilee 126334 offered well under the market is the clearest warning sign on this reference, because it is the most counterfeited Datejust configuration.

Quick answers
How much is a Rolex Datejust 41 126334 with the blue dial?
Rolex's US list price sat in the low US$11,000s in 2026. Bizak's sourced catalogue listed the blue index 126334 on Jubilee at US$15,682 brand new and US$14,520 pre-owned on 10 October 2026, sourced to order.
What is the difference between the 126334 and the 126300?
The bezel. The 126334 has an 18 ct white gold fluted bezel; the 126300 has a smooth Oystersteel bezel. Case, calibre 3235, dial options and bracelets are otherwise shared, and the 126300 is the cheaper of the two.
Is the Datejust 41 126334 bezel real white gold?
Yes. The fluted bezel on the 126334 is solid 18 ct white gold on an Oystersteel case, which Rolex calls White Rolesor. It is softer than steel and picks up small nicks that a service centre can refinish.
Does the 126334 come on an Oyster or a Jubilee bracelet?
Both. Rolex offers the blue index 126334 on the three-link Oyster or the five-link Jubilee, each with the Oysterclasp and Easylink extension. The Jubilee is the more requested pairing with the fluted bezel.
What movement is in the Rolex Datejust 41 126334?
The calibre 3235, an automatic movement with the Chronergy escapement, a 70-hour power reserve and Superlative Chronometer certification to plus or minus 2 seconds a day. It replaced the calibre 3136 of the Datejust II in 2016.
