Rose gold Royal Oak with a white face: every model and price

Audemars Piguet describes the light dials of its current pink gold Royal Oaks as silver-toned (“silvered” on the 15451OR); dealers, Bizak listings included, often call the same dials white, so match the reference rather than the colour name. The table lists every rose gold Royal Oak on this page with a white or silver dial, cheapest first and two-tone models last; tap a price to open that watch.

Which rose gold Royal Oak to choose

  • Size and thickness. For a small wrist, the 33 mm quartz or the 34 mm 77450OR at 8.8 mm; for a mid-size watch, the 37 mm 15551OR at 9.1 mm or the 39 mm “Jumbo” at 8.1 mm. The 41 mm 15510OR is 10.5 mm thick, the 26240OR chronograph 12.4 mm and the 43 mm Offshore 26420RO 14.4 mm.
  • Bracelet or strap. Strap versions cost less: the 15510OR starts at $56,650 on a black alligator strap against $63,050 on the bracelet, the 26240OR at $69,749 on a khaki green alligator strap against $107,325, and the 26320OR at $44,135 on a strap against $65,099.
  • Read the reference. In the references on this page, OR means pink gold and SR steel with pink gold; on the 43 mm Offshore 26420, RO is pink gold with a black ceramic bezel and OI pink gold with a titanium bezel. The next two letters give the setting or finish: OO none, ZZ diamonds, GG hammered Frosted Gold, and other pairs coloured stones, such as YY for the rainbow gemstones of the Offshore 26236OR and AY for the amethysts of the 26319OR. A code such as 1320OR is the pink gold bracelet, while D002CR, D315CR, D404CR and D821CR are black, blue, khaki green and brown alligator straps. The last two digits separate the dials: on the 26240OR, .03 and .07 are silver-toned, .01 and .05 blue, .02 and .06 black, .04 and .08 khaki green.
  • Calibre and price. The 15510OR and 15500OR have calibre 4302 with 70 hours, the 15551OR calibre 5900 with 60 hours, the 16202OR calibre 7121 with 52 hours and the 26240OR and 26239OR the flyback calibre 4401 with 70 hours. Models with calibre 3120 or 2385 often cost less: the 41 mm 15400OR, with calibre 3120, starts at $33,945 on a strap against $56,650 for the 15510OR, and the 26331OR chronograph, with calibre 2385, at $58,589 against $85,490 for a blue 26240OR on a strap.
  • Plain, gem-set or Frosted Gold. Most of the current 34 and 37 mm pink gold models here have a diamond-set bezel. Frosted Gold is Audemars Piguet’s hammered gold finish, on the 26239OR.GG chronograph, the 15412OR and 15468OR openworked models and the bezel of the 26730OR.GG; compare every Frosted Gold Royal Oak.
  • Water resistance. 50 m for most models; 20 m for the 26574OR perpetual calendar, the diamond-set 26242OR and 15417OR and the Concept flying tourbillons; 100 m for the 43 mm Offshore 26420RO and 26420OI.

What to check before you pay the balance

  • The full reference, suffix included. It identifies the dial: a 26240OR.OO.1320OR.07 is silver-toned and a .05 blue. Match the reference on the papers to the case, dial and bracelet in the photos of the specific watch.
  • White or silver. A listing that says white may describe a silver-toned dial. Judge the colour from photos of the specific watch, not from catalogue images.
  • Polishing. Crisp edges on the bezel, case and bracelet links suggest light or no polishing; ask whether the watch has been polished.
  • Stones. On a gem-set model, compare the number and cut of the stones with Audemars Piguet’s specification: for the 15451OR.ZZ.1256OR.01 it lists 40 brilliant-cut diamonds, about 0.90 carat, on the bezel. Stones that are not original should be disclosed before you approve the watch.
  • The warranty card date. Audemars Piguet’s five-year warranty applies to watches bought through its authorized network from 1 January 2017, subject to its International Sales Warranty, so the card date shows whether any of the five years is left.
  • Box, papers, links and clasp. Ask which items a quote includes, how many bracelet links come with the watch and, on a strap model, whether the pink gold AP folding clasp is included.
