Chronographs, RM 65-01 and RM 72-01: the automatic split-seconds RM 65-01 at about $293,000 to $558,000, and the RM 72-01 Lifestyle flyback chronograph at about $237,000 to $558,000.
Manual-winding sports watches, RM 055 Bubba Watson and RM 61-01 Yohan Blake: in ceramic, titanium and Carbon TPT. The RM 055 ran from about $251,000 to $340,000 and the RM 61-01 from about $237,000 to $511,000; the RM 55-01 in Carbon TPT was about $780,000.
Women's lines, RM 07-01, RM 07-04, RM 07-03 BonBon and RM 037: coloured ceramics, Quartz TPT, Carbon TPT and gem-set gold, including the pink RM 07-04 "Aurora Straus". The RM 07-01 ran from about $158,000 to $372,000 and the RM 07-04 from about $205,000 to $344,000.
Tourbillons, from the RM 17-01 and RM 17-02: also the RM 21 Aerodyne, RM 27-03 and RM 27-04 Rafael Nadal, RM 38-02 Bubba Watson, RM 50, RM 74 and the RM 88 Smiley. 35 listings, from about $465,000 to $5.64 million.
Materials explain much of the spread. Carbon TPT is built from many thin layers of carbon fibre, so its striped grain differs on every case. Quartz TPT uses layers of silica fibre and takes colour well. Titanium keeps cases light, ATZ and TZP ceramics add hardness and colour, and Cermet blends ceramic with metal. Gem-setting usually raises the price within a reference, but gold is not always dearer than titanium: a white-gold RM 016 was the catalogue floor on 12 October 2026, and the cheapest RM 67 was a rose-gold RM 67-01. Platinum is rare.
Buying advice
Choose the reference, then the case material. Within one reference, material and edition can add nearly $100,000: on 12 October 2026 a titanium RM 011 Felipe Massa started at $144,149, while the "Black Night" RM 011 in Carbon NTPT asked $242,258.
Many of the best-known references are discontinued. Richard Mille lists the RM 011 and RM 11-03, the RM 035 and RM 35-02, the RM 055, and the extra-flat RM 016 and RM 033 among its historical models, so they are bought on the secondary market. Its current collection carries these lines on with the RM 16-02, RM 33-03, RM 35-03 and RM 55-01.
Ask for the warranty card and service history. Richard Mille's warranty card carries a holographic security seal and is paired with the watch's serial number, and the brand keeps a record of every service. It advises a service every three years, and a yearly water-resistance check if the watch often goes in the water.
Avoid modified watches. Richard Mille voids the warranty on any watch worked on outside its network, naming aftermarket diamonds on the case or dial and replacement sapphire cases. Ask whether any stones were set by the factory.
How to tell an authentic Richard Mille
Richard Mille is widely counterfeited, so check the papers and the seller as carefully as the watch:
Numbers and papers: the reference and individual case number engraved on the caseback should match the warranty card, invoice and any service paperwork.
Case material: genuine Carbon TPT and Quartz TPT show an irregular layered grain that differs from case to case, not a uniform or printed-looking pattern.
Construction: the spline screws that hold the case should be identical, cleanly finished and free of tool marks.
Movement: a qualified watchmaker should open the caseback and confirm that the calibre and its finishing match the reference.
Weight: titanium and Carbon TPT references are very light; a heavy one needs a closer look.
Price: a Richard Mille offered far below the dated asks on this page usually has a problem with authenticity, provenance or papers.
Every watch Bizak & Co. sources is inspected before dispatch: reference, case and movement, dial and hands, strap, condition and documentation. Our authenticity guarantee explains what we check and what independent-dealer authentication covers.
Most Richard Mille watches cost between $100,000 and $500,000: on 12 October 2026, 261 of the 319 listings in Bizak's sourced catalogue fell in that range, and the median ask was $251,099. The full range ran from $69,749 for an extra-flat RM 016 or RM 033 to $5,637,600 for the RM 88 Smiley tourbillon, each sourced to order. Our Richard Mille watch price guide by collection covers each model line.
Why are Richard Mille watches so expensive?
Materials, machining and scarcity. Carbon TPT and Quartz TPT, which Richard Mille says are exclusive to the brand in watchmaking, are laid up from fibre layers no thicker than 45 microns, cured at 120°C under 6 bars and machined in its own workshops. Movements such as the RM 55-01's calibre RMUL4 sit on grade 5 titanium baseplates and bridges, a metal the brand calls hard on every tool, and each watch is finished and assembled by hand. Richard Mille describes its production as limited, and many of the most-wanted references, such as the RM 011 and RM 035, are no longer made. On the secondary market, reference, case material and complication set the price: in Bizak's listings on 12 October 2026, all 11 asks above $1 million were tourbillons.
What is the cheapest Richard Mille watch?
In Bizak's live listings on 12 October 2026 the lowest ask was $69,749, shared by a white-gold RM 016 and a titanium RM 033, both extra-flat automatics. Twenty listings were under $100,000 that day, among them RM 010, RM 028, RM 032 and RM 63-02 pieces; each is sourced to order.
New Richard Mille watches are sold through the brand's own boutiques. Since 2015 Richard Mille has also run a pre-owned programme in which approved retailers sell serviced watches with a 24-month international warranty. Independent dealers such as Bizak & Co. source new and pre-owned pieces on the secondary market: every reference in this collection can be sourced to order for you, and we can search for one that is not listed.
Can I buy a Richard Mille online, and can I pay with Bitcoin?
Yes, you can buy online: once you approve the photos and today's price for the specific watch, a $200 deposit credited to the price reserves it. The balance can be paid by bank wire or in cryptocurrency through an invoice our team arranges; the invoice states which coins and networks are accepted, so confirm Bitcoin on it before sending funds. See our crypto payment steps.
Which Richard Mille watches are for men?
Most Richard Mille references are men's or unisex sports watches, including the RM 011 and RM 11-03 flyback chronographs, the RM 35 Rafael Nadal line, the RM 67-02, RM 65-01, RM 72-01, RM 030 and RM 055. The RM 07-01, RM 07-04 and RM 037 were designed for women.
How can you tell if a Richard Mille is real?
Match the reference and case number on the caseback to the warranty card, then work through the checks in the authenticity section on this page. Bizak & Co. inspects and authenticates every sourced watch before dispatch under our authenticity guarantee.
Founded in 1999, Richard Mille redefined what a high-end watch could be — using Formula 1 and aerospace materials, brutalist tonneau cases, and price tags that scale with the engineering. Production is intentionally tiny: a few hundred of most references per year, allocated to clients with relationships. The secondary market is where these watches change hands.
